"Fantastic pub set in a fantastic location! In the winter you can sit by a lovely log fire with some superb food and drink, or attend one of the many large scale events based from the pub, Including "santa sails to Winkwell" or the Fireworks night,comedy nights are held usually on the first Monday of each month with some exceptions, These are definatly worth visiting with some excellent comedians and some rather famous faces appearing, but be sure to book early as these sell out every month. In the summer it’s great to get back from a hard day at work and sit out by the canal with an ice cold drink! They also put on some fantastic summer bbq's Well worth a visit any time of the year The locals are all a good bunch too! " -review by James B

"We celebrated our Mum's 80th Birthday at the Three Horseshoes on Saturday evening. It was a great party and Matt, Donice and the team took care of everything and really looked after us. "Jan and I visited with 6 friends last night we were made very welcome and the staff could not do enough to help us. The food was very good as was the beer. My regular attendances speak volumes for the high regard I have for the pub, its landlord (and lady) and the quality of its comedy I always enjoy eating in and dare I say it feels like my local, so, long may the traditions continue and the welcome be as warm

First Mondays Standups a mixed bag, but thats expected. On the whole, Very funny, sometimes brilliant; never boring. I will keep coming, keep up the good work, and keep giving the new acts a chance, it keeps things fresh.

Wow what a lovely surprise. I hadnt eaten in the 3 Horse Shoes for about 2 years because my last visit was a little disappointing. However, you redeemed yourselves ten fold last night. The service was excellent, extremely friendly and informative staff and the food was superb. Thank you and we will definitely be back!
