"Fantastic pub set in a fantastic location! In the winter you can sit by a lovely log fire with some superb food and drink, or attend one of the many large scale events based from the pub, Including "santa sails to Winkwell" or the Fireworks night,comedy nights are held usually on the first Monday of each month with some exceptions, These are definatly worth visiting with some excellent comedians and some rather famous faces appearing, but be sure to book early as these sell out every month. In the summer it’s great to get back from a hard day at work and sit out by the canal with an ice cold drink! They also put on some fantastic summer bbq's Well worth a visit any time of the year The locals are all a good bunch too! " -review by James B

"We celebrated our Mum's 80th Birthday at the Three Horseshoes on Saturday evening. It was a great party and Matt, Donice and the team took care of everything and really looked after us. "Jan and I visited with 6 friends last night we were made very welcome and the staff could not do enough to help us. The food was very good as was the beer.
